It’s been 3 years since the release of the superhit movie, Veere Di Wedding. It was an immediate hit among the audience. According to a report from Zee News, Veere Di Wedding was in the top 5 first-week grossers of that year with a net collection of 56.96 crores.
The movie was directed by Shashanka Gosh, starring Bollywood biggies, Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, as well as Swara Bhaskar, and Shikha Talsania. It follows four friends as they rediscover themselves while on a trip right before one of them is to get married.
Rhea Kapoor, the producer, shared a post to celebrate the 3rd year since the release of Veere Di Wedding. Kareena, upon seeing the story, recalled all the memories made while filming this movie. She reposted Rhea Kapoor’s story calling her decision to act in this movie the ‘best decision of her life’ and even called it a cool film.
Her story read “The Best decision I took…such a cool film. #3YearsOfVeereDiWedding.” She tagged all of her co-stars, the producers and ended the post with a heart emoticon.
While we can reminisce all we want about Kareena’s cool 2018 movie, Veere Di Wedding, the actress is getting ready to blow our minds with yet another movie of hers. After Veere Di Wedding hit its two years mark, there was discussion about a sequel. Soon it was verified that there will be a sequel where the four friends will deepen their relationships. The film has the same cast as the previous one. The sequel of the movie, Veere Di Wedding 2 is set to release this August.
