Yash, the Telugu cinema sensation is one of the highest-paid actors in the Kannada film industry. He has garnered quite a huge audience with his super hit movies such as KGF part 1 and part 2. The movies got him a lot of recognition among audiences and the industry as well! There are quite a few facts about him that fans know but there is always more to learn! Yash comes from a small town in the district of Hassan in Karnataka. While his mother, Pushpa, is a homemaker, his father worked as a bus driver. He first worked in the KSRTC transport service and later on he worked with the BMTC transport services.

Yash commenced his profession in acting with TV serials. He first made an appearance in a TV series Nanda Gokula directed by Ashoke Kashyap.

Getting into the industry wasn’t easy for the actor and he made his debut in 2007 with the movie Jambada Hudugi. He played a lot of supporting roles at the beginning of his career. In 2008 he got the chance to work in a supporting role in the movie, Moggina Manasu. This role won him the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor.

Yash’s first solo commercial hit is the 2010 movie, Modalsala.

After 2010, he worked in quite a few commercial hit movies. His 2014 movie, Mr. and Mrs. Ramachaari where he worked alongside Radhika was a super hit and became the highest-grossing movie that year. After this, he became the highest-paid actor in Kannada cinema. Interestingly he sang in two of this movie’s songs, Annthamma, and Annange Love Angle.

Yash and his wife Radhika, founded the organization, Yasho Marga Foundation to help the poor. They have donated around 4 crores to Kapal to the district, provided them with drinking water, and helped them with their lakes.

KGF became the highest-grossing movie that marked his entry into the 200 crores club.
