Ajith Kumar is one of Kollywood’s well-known and successful actors. He has been in the industry since 1990 when he got his first acting role in the movie, En Veedu En Kanavar. The actor has quite a love story. Ajith Kumar married his wife, Shalini back in 2000. The two share a really sweet love story.
Ajith Kumar and Shalini’s love story began with a slight accident during a shoot. The actor was supposed to threaten the actress during a scene but he accidentally ended up wounding her and cutting her. The actor immediately felt guilty. He took care of the actress during the rest of the shoots.
But that wasn’t where they first met! The two met earlier. When she was in 12th grade Shalini was approached for the movie Amarkalam. But she was insistent to focus on her studies and rejected the offer. The director Saran didn’t give up. Later, Ajith had called her up to ask her to think it over. Saran and Ajith assured Shalini that they would start shooting only after her 12 exams.
After the release of the movie the stars confessed their feeling for each other. According to a Pink Villa report, Ajith once spoke about his relationship with Shalini during an interview. HE said “I am like a river. My life has taken several turns, clashed with several rocks, and am carrying a lot of things on my shoulders. I have now found the sea for me. I believe that this would help me calm down and channelize my spirit,”
The couple got married in 2000 and are now proud parents to their kids, Anoshka and Aadvik. Each marriage has its good and bad moments but the two still love each other the same!
