When it comes to famous Bollywood actors, they might sizzling the on-screen romance with their co-actors in movies, but on many occasions in the past, we have seen actors prefer a partner who’s not from the film industry. Two such ladies of B-Town who chose to get married to individuals who have nothing to do with Bollywood are Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla. While Madhuri eventually got married to Dr. Shriram Nene, Juhi Chawla got married to businessman Jay Mehta.
But folks, was the decision to not marry someone from the industry a conscious one from Madhuri and Juhi? Well, today we spill the beans.
During an interview with Karan Johar on Koffee With Karan, when both were asked the same question, they had some really interesting answers. Madhuri was quoted as saying,
“With Shah Rukh, I’ve done a lot of work, and with Salman also. With Aamir, I just did two films. It’s just that maybe I didn’t like anyone enough to marry them. My husband is my hero.”
Juhi further added in a hilarious manner,
“They’re all fantastic heroes, but I don’t think I could’ve handled my husband looking into the mirror as much as I would.”
