Their dreamy wedding turned out to be one of the biggest weddings of 2018. And why not? It’s not every day that two of Bollywood’s biggest stars get married. They had the world go crazy with their dreamy wedding pictures.
Their love blossomed on the sets of Goliyon Ke Rasleela Ram Leela, and after dating for six years, Ranveer and Deepika took the plunge in November 2018.
In earlier interviews, Ranveer had revealed that it was Deepika’s choice to get married at Lake Como. Ranveer said, “Whatever Deepika wished, I wanted her to have it. And that’s the first step in being the husband of the millennium. Whatever was her vision of getting married, I wanted her to realise it. Whatever she wanted, it was done exactly in that manner.”(Sigh) how adorable.
In and interview Deepika said about her post-marriage changes, “I’m a lot more grounded now. I feel secure, I feel protected. When you’re in a relationship, there’s still a lot of nerves, you’re still unsure, no matter how long you’ve been dating. Somewhere, the terms boyfriends girlfriends don’t carry that weight as marriage does. Today when we look at each other, there’s a sense of responsibility. We were clear that we’d start living together after marriage and figure life as we go along. Or else where’s the beauty in the discovery? So now we’re figuring things out. Like I’m figuring out his routine. I call him in the evening to check how his day is going and what time he’s coming home, what he will have for dinner… All of this is great.”
Well, we only knew Deepika as this hot, beautiful and talented actress and a good human being but now we also got to know her as an amazing wife.
