Bollywood has always had quite a bit of drama be it love-related or simple bad blood between actors. Being a star means that they always have a camera pointed at them. Stars have to think a million times before they speak a statement. Netizens can be very unforgiving when they feel burnt by a statement. 1) Salman Khan: Salman had made a scathing comment that got criticism from everyone. While talking about the physical pain he went through during the shoots of Sultan, he equated the pain to that of a raped woman. Salman had said:
“When I used to walk out of that ring, it used to be actually like a raped woman walking out.”
His father Salim Khan later apologized for Salman’s insensitivity over the subject.
2) Priyanka Chopra:
Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor have had bad blood for a while now. And they have many scorching exchanges. Kareena had once referred to Priyanka’s accent while on Koffee with Karan. She said:
“I want to ask where she gets her accent from.”
Priyanka retaliated with this sassy comment:
“I got it from the same place her boyfriend got it from.”
3) Kangana Ranaut:
Kangana Ranaut is a magnet for controversies and she generally reels them in with single statements. There are quite a few of her statements that have caused outrage, be it about the issue of her ‘relationship’ with Hrithik and the casting of Krrish 3 or her calling Urmila a soft po*n star. The actress went so far as to sassing Karan Johar at his show Koffee with Karan. She said:
“In my biopic, you’ll play that stereotypical Bollywood biggie who is snooty and completely intolerant of outsiders. The flagbearer of nepotism.”
4) Sara Ali Khan:
Sara Ali Khan sent netizens into a rage with her not-so-appropriate comment on colorism. She had said:
“If you wanna be tan, just put on some bronzer, and if you wanna be fair, put on some powder.”
5) Rishi Kapoor:
Rishi Kapoor often posted bold tweets. And on his most questionable and bold one was when he tweeted:
“am angry. Why do you equate food with religion?? I am a beef-eating Hindu. Does that mean I am less God-fearing than a non-eater? Think!!”
