Winning the title of Femina Miss India Universe back in 1993, Namrata started off her journey as a showbiz artist. She debuted as a child artist in the 1977 film Shirdi Ke Sai Baba along with Shatrughan Sinha. She also worked in the Bollywood movie Jab Pyar Kisi Se Hota Hai along with Salman Khan and Twinkle Khanna. In 1999 she got featured in the movie Kachche Dhage.
