Nicole Kidman to star in and produce the series adaptation of Janelle Brown’s Pretty Things

Nicole Kidman to star in an Amazon series 'Pretty Things'

Actress Nicole Kidman has signed on for a new series based on Janelle Brown’s novel, “Pretty Things.” Amazon has secured the rights to the book, which will be released on April 21st. The story follows two intelligent but damaged women who team up to survive a dangerous game of deceit and destruction.

The plot centers around a hesitant con artist who befriends a wealthy influencer at Lake Tahoe, leading to a dangerous game of revenge. While Kidman’s role is currently unknown, more information will come.

The actress had posted a boomerang on Instagram showing off the novel and announcing the series. She will produce the project via her Blossom Films banner. Nicole was set to appear on TV screens shortly opposite Hugh Grant in HBO’s “The Undoing,” however the series was pushed due to the pandemic. She also has “Nine Perfect Strangers,” the adaptation of another Liane Moriarty novel. The actress has a lot laid on her table right now.

We can’t wait to see what part Nicole Kidman will be playing in the series.
