The delay in the release of Abhishek Bachchan’s Harshad Mehta bio-pic The Big Bull has led to much speculation on the film being put on hold to avoid comparisons with the webseries Hansal Mehta’s Scam 1992.
But now The Big Bull is all set to be streamed on Disney-Hoststar from April 8.
Abhishek Bachchan who plays Harshad Mehta In The Big Bull remains supremely confident about his project. “We’ve made the film we wanted to, and it’s turned to everyone’e satisfaction. Hopefully the audience will not compare The Big Bull with Scam 1992. They are two different creations, though based on the same subject.”
Abhishek points out Ajay Devgan and Bobby Deol playing Bhagat Singh during the same year 2002. No one compared the two performances.
