Shruti Haasan and Micheal Corsale were quite the cute couple with their cute and quirky photos. But long-distance relationships can be quite hard to maintain. Nonetheless, they seem to remain friends. The two had broken up back in 2019 and had announced it on Twitter in April.
Micheal had taken to Twitter to announce the breakup. He wrote He wrote, “Life has just kept us on opposite sides of the globe unfortunately and so we have to walk solo paths it seems. But this young lady will always be my best mate. So grateful to always have her as a friend. Luv ya gal”
According to an India Today report, the actress had opened up about the break-up while on a reality show Feet Up With The Stars hosted by Laxmi Manchu. The actress had said that ‘I was the cool type. I was very innocent and everyone would boss around me. I am a very emotional person that’s why they could take over. I would say, it was a very good experience for me.’
Shruti went on to say, ‘Even now there is no formula. Good people are good at times and the same people are bad at times. But I have no regrets it was overall a good experience for me. I have learned a lot and it was a learning experience. But I always look for that one great love and I will be happy to announce that this is the one I have been waiting for.’
She is currently happily dating her boyfriend, Santanu Hazarika. The two seem to share a lot of cuddly and cozy pictures on Instagram.
