Actress Rhea Chakraborty on May 24 launched the first store of her streetwear fashion brand Chapter 2 Drip on Linking Road in Bandra, Mumbai. Rhea started this brand last year along with her brother Showik Chakraborty, Harpreet Singh and Jinita Seth. Now the brand has reached a new milestone when its first physical store has opened to the public.
Before the launch, Rhea was seen working and decorating clothes inside her store late at night. In a video, she was seen talking to the paparazzi standing outside in sign language, which shows her dedication to her brand.
Recently talking to Elle magazine, Rhea said that this brand was not a plan but arose from the most delicate phase of her life. She said,
“When I was most broken and unable to express myself, my clothes became my voice. A T-shirt said to me what I was unable to say. It became my strength.”
Chapter 2 Drip, is not just a fashion brand but marks a new beginning in Rhea’s life, a platform that promotes self-revelation and confidence.
Rhea is currently seen as a gang leader in MTV Roadies XX, where she is accompanied by Prince Narula, Neha Dhupia, Elvish Yadav, Gautam Gulati and host Rannvijay Singha.
Apart from this, she also hosts a YouTube podcast called Chapter 2, in which she has had interesting conversations with stars like Aamir Khan, Yo Yo Honey Singh and Sushmita Sen.
On the film front, Rhea was last seen in the film ‘Chehre’ alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi.
This step of Riya not only reflects her creativity but also proves how one can overcome difficult times and make a new beginning.
