Angelina Jolie is all set to make her Marvel cinematic universe debut with Eternals. The movie is being helmed by Chloe Zhao, where Jolie is playing the role of Thena.
However, now it’s been confirmed by the makers that the character suffers a major memory loss in the film. The producer of the film, Nate Moore has talked about the film and the story of Thena, saying that Thena has a massive disorder in the film.
Talking of the character’s tragic story, Angelina Jolie said, “She has a tragic story in our film in that she comes down with something called Mahd Wy’ry. If you guys are fans of comics Mahd Wy’ry is something that can beset an Eternal. It’s a version of dementia. Because of the amount of memories they have, they become unstuck in their mind, so she starts to forget exactly when she is, so through the course of the movie, Gilgamesh becomes her protector,” As quoted by Koi Moi.
