Salma Hayek is a fabulous Mexican-American actress and producer, who began her career in Mexico with starring roles in the telenovela Teresa as well as the romantic drama El Callejón de los Milagros, for which she also received an Ariel Award nomination.
Recently, marking her 56th birthday the Eternals actress posted a joyful video clip on Instagram. In the video, the star dances on the tunes of the Mariachi band. She is dressed in a pretty hot-pink gown, that feautured a deep plunging neckline.
Salma Hayek seemed breathtaking in the lovely outfit, paired with a simple neckpiece and her tresses middle-parted and softly curled. In a picture, Salma Hayek was seen sporting her beautiful smile with pink lipstick on.
As to caption her post, Salma wrote, “What a better way to celebrate a birthday than with a Mariachi band” in English as well as Mexican language.
Talking about a “Mariachi”, it is a genre of regional Mexican music that dates back to at least the 18th century, evolving over time in the countryside of various regions of western Mexico.
Nowadays, a mariachi group consists of as many as eight violins, two trumpets and at least one guitar, including a high-pitched vihuela and an acoustic bass guitar called a guitarrón, and all players taking turns singing lead and doing backup vocals.
