In Constanta, Romania, on August 13, 1982, Sebastian Stan was born. When he was eight years old, he and his mother relocated to Vienna, Austria, and when he was twelve, they went to New York. Stan spent a year performing at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London while attending Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts.
Stan debuted as an actor in 1994 movie 71 Fragments of a Chronology of Chance, and his career really took off in 2003 when he landed a role in Law & Order. Before landing a recurring role as Carter Baizen on Gossip Girl in 2007, he made roles in a number of movies, including Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding, The Architect, and The Covenant. In the 2009 television series Kings, Stan played the title character, Jack Benjamin. He played the antagonist Blaine in the comedies Hot Tub Time Machine and Darren Aronofsky’s ballet thriller, Black Swan, in 2010. In the 2011 movie Captain America: The First Avenger, which was based on the Marvel Comics character Bucky Barnes, he played the role. Despite being his first movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Snatching hearts! A number of well-known ladies have been associated with Sebastian Stan throughout the years, but he makes an effort to keep his personal life private. Stan’s most notable role prior to being recognized for his portrayal of Bucky Barnes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was that of Carter Baizen on the CW’s Gossip Girl. Leighton Meester, his ex-girlfriend who he began dating in 2008, was introduced to him through his recurrent part in the teen drama. The Pam & Tommy actor claimed at the time that he didn’t find it offensive to see his then-girlfriend have a sexual encounter with Ed Westwick, who portrayed Chuck Bass in Leighton Meester’s Blair Waldorf. Westwick played the on-screen love interest.
“Everyone approaches work with the same mindset because it is work. However, it makes us all laugh,” Stan remarked. “I get to go home with her, so that’s a plus.” Adam Brody became the new love of Meester’s life after she ended her relationship with the Avengers: Endgame actor. Two kids were born to the couple after their 2014 wedding.
