Shahid Kapoor

Kapoor studied dancing at Shiamak Davar’s institute as the son of actors Pankaj Kapur and Neelima Azeem. He appeared in a few films in the 1990s as a background dancer, and later in music videos and television advertisements. In 2003, he made his cinematic debut in the romantic comedy Ishq Vishk, a sleeper hit for which he received the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. After that, he appeared in a number of commercial flops before starring in Sooraj Barjatya’s top-grossing family drama Vivah.

For his roles as a troubled businessman in Imtiaz Ali’s romantic comedy Jab We Met (2007) and twin brothers in Vishal Bhardwaj’s action thriller Kaminey, Kapoor received Filmfare Award nominations for Best Actor (2009). He starred in the action film R… Rajkumar after a string of unsuccessful films (2013). Kapoor was praised for his performances as Hamlet in Bhardwaj’s play Haider (2014) and as a drug-abusing singer in the crime drama Udta Punjab (2016). He received the Filmfare Award for Best Actor for the former, and the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor for the latter. The period drama Padmaavat (2018) and the love drama Kabir Singh (2018) were Kapoor’s highest-grossing films (2019).

Apart from acting, Kapoor is a supporter of charities, a host of award shows, and a talent judge on the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded (2015). He is married to Mira Rajput and has two children with her.

Jai Hemant “Tiger” Shroff (born March 2, 1990) is a Hindi cinema actor, martial artist, and dancer. He made his film debut with the 2014 romantic action film Heropanti, the son of actor Jackie Shroff and producer Ayesha Dutt.

Ranveer Singh

Ranveer Singh Bhavnani, an Indian actor who works in Hindi films, was born on July 6, 1985. He is one of the highest-paid Indian actors and has been on Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list since 2012. He has won many awards, including four Filmfare Awards.

Singh returned to India to pursue an acting profession after earning his bachelor’s degree at Indiana University Bloomington. He originally worked in advertising before making his acting debut in Yash Raj Films’ romantic comedy Band Baaja Baaraat in 2010. He won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for the film, which was a critical and economic hit. His work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, which began with the romance Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, earned him plaudits for his portrayal of a melancholic thief in the drama Lootera.

In Bhansali’s historical dramas Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat, Singh received critical acclaim for his performances as Bajirao I and Alauddin Khilji, respectively. For the former, he obtained the Filmfare Award for Best Actor, while for the latter, he accepted the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor. These, along with the action flick Simmba, in which he played the lead role, are among India’s highest-grossing films. In Zoya Akhtar’s musical film Gully Boy, he received another Filmfare Award for Best Actor for his role as an aspiring rapper.

Singh has hosted the television game show The Big Picture (2021–2022) and supports a number of businesses and goods in addition to performing. He is married to Deepika Padukone, a frequent co-star.
