Today marks Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput’s seventh wedding anniversary. Surprisingly, Shahid Kapoor wed someone from outside the film industry. On July 7, 2015, he married Mira in a small ceremony in Gurgaon. The couple is now blessed with two children, daughter Misha and son Zain.
Shahid took to Instagram to wish his lady love. He shared a photograph of the couple while they were vacationing in Switzerland recently and wrote,”7 down baby. Happy anni…. you made it through 7 hard long years. You a survivor. You a LEGEND”. In this picture, the happy couple is all smiling for the camera in glasses.
The couple had a romance that was straight out of a Sooraj Barjatya film. When Mira Rajput first met Shahid Kapoor, she was only 16 years old. She admitted this during an Ask Me Anything session. The actor was there at a gathering at the home of some of their shared family friends.
A few years later, the families got back in touch, and they arranged for Shahid and Mira to meet in 2014. They got along well right away. Shahid and Mira welcomed their first child, Misha, a year and a half later. Their younger son Zain was born in 2018.
Shahid and Mira often share photos on social media with their children. Mira had also spoken about how they have split parenting duties. It’s really an adorable family.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shahid Kapoor will be seen next in the movies ‘Jersey’ and ‘Bloody Daddy’.
