Haelyn Shastri, who earned a role in the film Sooryavanshi has recently opened up on owing her Rs 600 to Akshay Kumar on the sets and lots more. She played the role of Malvika Gupta who served as an anti-terrorist squad officer in Rohit Shetty’s directorial.

Speaking of the love she is earning from the audience, she said, “Oh! I cannot express, I literally started crying when I heard that my scene garnered applause, whistles, and laughs. Trust me I was so overwhelmed I can never explain that in words. Many people started tagging me and sharing how funny that scene is.I haven’t had this much screen visibility. I am so thankful to everyone who saw my hard work and stayed in my hard times. I’m grateful to my family, friends, and social media fans.”

Talking of her experiences, working with Rohit Shetty, she said, “I’ve learned a lot from Rohit Sir. He knows how to balance work and fun. During the shoot, he is the calmest and focused person. He is always two-step ahead. He processes in between shots of how the next scene can be. But that doesn’t mean there is no fun on set. Pranks and laughter were always an integral part of Rohit Shetty’s film. Sir treats everyone with respect and hence everyone on set wants to work with him.”

She added, “My experience working with Akshay Kumar sir was joyous, electrifying and memorable. He is funny and treats everyone with respect and plays pranks too. On my first day, for the first scene, I was a bit nervous but he helped me to improvise the scene. I’ve shared the screen with Ajay Devgan in an advertisement. Ranveer Singh is super energetic and I was really inspired when he gave a one-shot performance for the climax scene. All of them are stellar performers.”

Adding on the fun moments she had with Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh on the sets, she said, “Akshay Kumar sir offered us to play ludo and to make game bit more fun and competitive he said let’s have a bet of Rs.200/- per person. If I lose I’ll give if you lose you’ll give. He won every time so we owe him Rs.600 for the game. It was all for fun but was a great moment in my life. I had a really intelligent conversation with Jaaved Jafferi sir related to our film and gained useful knowledge from him. While introducing myself, I had a bet with Ranveer Singh that if he forgets my name he will treat me with Vada Pav and if he doesn’t I will treat him. So after we all finished our scene and the next day we met on set, I asked him do you remember my name he was acting as he forgot. I said sir you forgot then he snaps, ‘No, I remember Haelyn Shastriiiii’.” as stated in Bollywood Hungama.
