Ranjith Sankar, the filmmaker, is known for making films that the viewer can readily identify with. The filmmaker has chosen to take the audience on a nostalgia ride, back to their college days, for his next venture 4 Years, and the film’s first song – Vaanila Thaarake – promises a feel-good vibe, made all the more memorable by the chemistry between its lead pair, Sarjano Khalid and Priya Prakash Varrier.

Set to Sankar Sarma’s catchy tune, the visual track also hints that the film may explore its protagonists’ four years of college life and how things have changed when they revisit them on the last days of college at the same place that gave life to those memories. Vaanila Thaarake is sung by Ayraan and Sruthy Sivadas and written by Arathi Mohan.

The trailer for 4 Years was released last week and received one million views in 19 hours. The filmmaker said on social media that it was “the fastest one million” in his career and that he was “humbled” by the audience’s support.

On Tuesday, Priya Prakash Varrier posted a romantic reel with Sarjano Khalid on track Vaanile Thaarake. Also, south beauty Priya captioned it “ Vaanile Thaarake…???”

As Priya Prakash Varrier enjoys a massive fan following on Instagram she got more than 40k likes within an hour and 140 comments all of her fans’ comments are very appreciative.
