Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday are the modern-day hot sensations of B-Town and ever since they made their debut, it’s been quite an interesting journey for the two hotties. Both of them made their debut in the industry with SOTY 2 and ever since then, both have continued to go forward and do some credible work. While Tara has been part of movies like Marjaavan and a few other music videos here and there, Ananya has been part of movies like Pati Patni Aur Woh & Khaali Peeli.
We all know the two of them started with SOTY 2. But folks, did you know the two had also auditioned for the role of Jasmine in Aladdin remake? Yes that’s true.
As per reports in M.a.s.a.l.a magazine, During an earlier interview, Ananya spoke about how she had auditioned for the film and the video that she sent was liked as well. However, she didn’t make the cut as she didn’t have the ability to sing which was one of the key criterias.
Tara, on the other hand, spoke about auditioning for the same movie and getting an opportunity to work with Will Smith which however didn’t happen in Aladdin. She expressed her happiness about working with Will in SOTY 2 as he had a small cameo in the movie.
