Akshay Kumar aka our very own Khiladi Kumar is that one superstar who well and truly doesn’t need any introduction. For more than 30 years, he has been on top of his game in every department, right from on-screen romance to action and comedy. The best and most exciting thing about Akshay is that whatever he does, he makes it look absolutely effortless and that’s a wonderful quality for an actor to have.
Most of the professional actors who make it big in life usually have someone or the other as a mentor who guides them in the right direction. But hey folks, do you all know that for Akshay, it was none other than our very own ‘Aakhri Pasta’, aka Chunky Pandey. No folks, we are ‘not joking’.
As per reports in Hindustan Times, Chunky was quoted saying on Cyrus Broacha’s chat show,
He really makes me laugh about it. I graduated from a school called Madhumati’s Dancing School. So when I was graduating… Akshay’s much younger than me, four-five years younger than me. Akshay was just joining the school. You know how it is, when you just join, the teachers don’t teach you, the senior students teach you. So I used to teach him some dance moves, and some dialogue delivery. “He still laughs and jokes about it. That’s why he says in the initial part of his career he didn’t get too much work or awards, because of the acting I taught him. He had to undo what I taught him and become a better actor, and that’s why he’s become Akshay Kumar.”
