Gulshan Grover, the Bollywood baddie, is one of the very well-known actors who often take up roles of villains or antagonists. And it seems that Bollywood is not the only industry that is impressed with his mean tricks!
A while back the actor was approached to star in a Hollywood movie. And this was no ordinary film either! The Hollywood movie he was approached to play in was a James Bond movie! Imagine playing the role of a character that is on almost equal footing as James Bond. The actor was a bit too excited by the news, however! Read on to know more!
According to a Times of India report, the actor reveals that Prince Charles’s cousin has approached him to see if he would play the role of a villain in Casino Royale, the James Bond movie. All this happened back in 2005 while the actor was at Clarence House in London’s St James Palace for a meeting. The actor even signed to play the character Le Chiffre in Casino Royale as per the same report.
But the actor lost out on the opportunity when he excitedly mentioned the news to a friend before an official announcement would be made. This upset the producers of Casino Royale and he was eventually replaced by Mads Mikkelsen.
