Deepika Padukone sparked to fame with her debut film Om Shanti Om, where she starred alongside Shah Rukh Khan. The film was a hit and since then DP became a star in Bollywood. Then in 2011, the actress shot to headlines and also led to several controversies for her item number in a film, and in the same, she was offered to do a special live performance on stage, by the company Harley Davidson.
Deepika Padukone, in the same year, was offered an amount of 3.5 cr by Harley Davidson to perform a dance live. However, the actress rejected the offer claiming that she was busy with the shoot of Desi Boyz and was in production back then.
An associate of HD, talked to HT, saying, “The song is perfect for us because it has a great youth connect. Deepika is a craze in the 16 to 30 age bracket. We unanimously agreed that she was ideal to take our bike to Indian connoisseurs.” They further added, “The high-energy choreography and much-discussed lyrics have caught the fancy of youngsters.”, as quoted by Koi Moi
