Jab We Met, featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor is one of the most celebrated movies in the country. With the amazing script, music and actors, the film became a real hit at the box office, and people can’t yet let go of “Geet” and “Aditya” from their minds.
According to an article by Koi Moi, it wasn’t Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor the first choice of the makers, the makers wanted to cast Ayesha Takia and Bobby Deol for the film and later thought of casting Preity Zinta for the film. However, even though Zinta agreed to do the film but she urged for six months’ time before she could kick start the film. With that, they asked Kareena Kapoor to sign for the film.
However, while KKK was in the talks with the makers, she actually insisted, that they replace Bobby Deol in the film, and then only she would actually sign for the film. The makers eventually gave in to the conditions and cast Shahid Kapoor in the film.
