Back in time when Farah Khan felt there is a ghost in her room, check out full story!

Throwback: When Farah Khan ran into Karan Johar’s room saying, “mere kamre me bhoot hai.”

Karan Johar and Farah Khan have been together for an epic film of 1998, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Karan Johar, from an old interview, reminded of the incident when Farah Khan came running to him and said, ‘Mere kamre main bhoot hai (My room has a ghost),’ when they were shooting for Kuch Kuch Hota Hai in Scotland.

While promoting Vicky Kaushal’s film Bhoot: The Haunted Ship in 2020, Karan Johar was asked if he had witnessed a ghost. To this, the director Karan Johar recalled the incident while shooting for the film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Karan revealed, “For Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, we were shooting in Scotland. And in Scotland, people used to talk a lot about a certain Loch Ness monster that there is this monster in that territory.”

He also said, “We were all sleeping that night in an inn. Just two days later, we were all geared up to shoot the title song for Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, and Farah Khan too was there at the recce. We made sure we had our healthy dinner to sleep early because we had to wake up early too. I still remember it was about 10 or 11 at night when loud bangs on my door. I woke up with a startle, and I went to the door, and it was Farah Khan clad in a pair of Mickey Mouse Pajamas. It was pretty cute and mildly scary as well.”

And continuing the story revealed, “She said, ‘I swear mere kamre mein koi bhoot hai, I felt the pressure of something on me.’ And I was like, what are you saying? She was telling me I could not sleep in that room; I had to share the room with you. So she slept, but she was afraid right through that night. She kept looking left and right to make sure there was no one, and she scared me in the process. I was perfectly fine till then, but when I saw her so scared, I got petrified even more. So that’s the only close to a ghost story that happened in my life.”

While once again, the duo is working together on Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The film casts Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in the lead roles and Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi playing key roles. Karan Johar’s last film as director was also a big hit Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
