There are some rare occasions where you find someone that eerily looks a lot like you. This is a lot more common when you are a star. That how a lot of stars get their stunt doubles too! Katrina Kaif, the Bollywood hottie is quite the popular actress! She is known to have a doppelganger too!
Alina Rai took the internet by storm when people found her on social media and realized how similar she looks to the b-town star Katrina. She soon rose to fame simply for her uncanny resemblance to the star of the movie. She posted quite a few pictures and videos of her on her social media handle which blew up!
But Alina doesn’t seem too fond of people knowing her simply because she is a ‘Katrina look alike’. She would much prefer to be known as Alina Rai. In fact, according to a Times of India report, the actress once spoke about this in an interview!
According to a Times of India report, Alina has said, “When I came to Mumbai, people started telling me that I resembled Katrina Kaif. It was then that I realized that I look like her. I never wanted that to be the reason why people recognized me. I have my own identity and my own looks and I would always prefer it to be my own. In filmy style, if I would like to conclude, “Main apni favorite hoon!”
