Jamie Foxx is an American comedian, musician, and actor who rose to fame for his impersonations on the television sketch comedy show In Living Colour and later established himself as a versatile film actor, most notably for his Academy Award-winning performance as Ray Charles in Ray Charles (2004).

Talking on the Awards show at the 2014 Britannia Awards on BBC America on how Robert Downey Jr. accepted his invitation to attend his daughter’s birthday party and made his day an amazing one.

Robert Downey Jr, who recreates the character of Iron Man of the popular Avengers series is a renowned character especially among kids. One such kid was Jamie Foxx’s daughter. He shared the incident of when his daughter requested him to invite Iron Man to her birthday party when she was just four years old.

He mentioned how he actually texted the real Iron Man Robert Downey Jr, who readily accepted his offer and attended the party. He mentions how kind and humble of a human being RDJ is for actually showing up at a kid’s birthday party on such short notice.

“He shows up just before the party, brings like a whole big thing of Iron Man toys and passed it out to all the kids and then I was, like, trying to rush it because I thought he was in a hurry and he was like, ‘Dude, here’s the deal, I’m here, don’t worry about it…’ So, he hung out and, to this day, I’m indebted to that dude.”
