Vijay Deverakonda is a really well-known face from the Telugu film industry. The actor is at the peak of his career. He has been an actor for a decade now! He has worked on quite a few hits since his debut back in 2011. And he is finally being recognized as the mega-blockbuster that he is. There are quite a few actors and actresses that recognize his talent and acting skills.
The actor made his debut back in 2011 with Ravi Babu’s romantic-comedy, Nuvvila. He wasn’t an instant success. The actor finally started getting recognition after his 2015 coming-of-age drama, Yevade where he played the supporting role. But the actor finally gained stardom as a lead in the movie, Pelli Chooplulu. The movie did really well and even won accolades such as the National award for the Best Feature Film in Telugu, the Filmfare Award for Best Film. It was even featured in the 2019 Forbes list in the 30 under their 30 list.
His next movie, the 2017 Dwaraka didn’t do as well. But in the same year, his biggest blockbuster film’s Arjun Reddy was released. Arun Reddy marked the rise of the actor’s career as a mega-blockbuster. The movie even got remade in Bollywood as Kabir Sign, played by Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani. The actress had praised Vijay for his work in Arjun Reddy! Since then his movies Geetha Govindam(2018) and Mahanati(2018) have also blown up. These two blockbusters were very well received by the audience.
The actor is currently working on a film alongside Shruti Haasan. Fighter or Liger is set to release on the 9th of September. Fans are eager to watch how this movie will go!
