In an interview, Mrunal Thakur spilled beans on how she faced rejection in her journey from TV to Bollywood. The actress expresses her journey from nothing to one of the most talented actresses in the town. The actress said, “There were times I used to go for a film audition, and they would say that this is not meant for you. You have a very television face, and You are only good for television. Anyway, you know that, you know like you are a television actor. You can’t be a Bollywood actor. And you wanted to be into acting, you should have just straight away gone to Bollywood.”

Further continuing that she wanted to break the stereotype and move forward she said, “There was a mentality that television actors cannot do that transition. But I wanted to break it and I just felt films were something. And So I didn’t stop.” Mrunal Thakur shared how it was unimaginable for her as her father was a banker in Shrirampur in Ahmednagar. Also, even she didn’t think of it. But sure, she wanted to try and do what she wanted to.

Mrunal Thakur revealed Love Sonia became a turning point in her life. The actress said, “Things went really well. So that was a huge compliment for me. A big thank you to all of them, You should only be a television actress, But I’m happy where I am. Actually, that is how I got motivated. So I took it in a very positive way.”
