Tom Holland, Zendaya’s purported boyfriend, has nothing but positive things to say concerning him. In an interview for InStyle’s “Best Issue” cover story, the Dune actress expressed her admiration for her co-star and Spider-Man leading man.

“There are many things, obviously, that I appreciate. In an actor way, I appreciate that he really loves being Spider-Man,” the 25-year-old actress said. “It’s a lot of pressure — you take on the role of a superhero wherever you go. To the little kid who walks by, you are Spider-Man. I think he handled that so well.”

“And seeing him at work, even though he’s not a Virgo, he is a perfectionist. Our director allowed me to come in every day [of the shoot], and it was cool to see how he cares so much about his work and making it right. I watched him do a fight scene all day, which is exhausting,” she added. “He’d do a move, come back to the monitors, watch it, and say, ‘I can do that better.’ I’d be like, ‘Dude, you got it.’ But he wants us to be perfect, and I really appreciate that.”

When the two were seen kissing while driving in Los Angeles, it fuelled speculations of a romance, and they later spent the Fourth of July weekend together. The co-stars of Spider-Man: Far From Home have yet to declare if they’re dating, but since their first Spider-Man press tour in July 2017, love speculations about the two have been floating on and off.

Despite keeping their personal lives private, the couple hasn’t been shy about expressing their love for one another on social media. In September, on Zendaya’s 25th birthday, the 25-year-old actor gave credit to the actress on Instagram, sharing a cozy behind-the-scenes snapshot of the two taken by Zendaya.

Zendaya said she wants to do “my own things” in the future, particularly films that “give space for young up-and-coming artists, authors, and directors.” She stated that her purpose is to provide opportunities for those who do not have them, particularly Black talent.

“It’s not a lack of opportunity; it’s a lack of knowledge,” she explained. “I’d want to provide the following opportunities: Connecting aspiring filmmakers with different writers and mentorships, as well as the actors they wish to see in their films, allows them to form that special ties. Also, make certain they are compensated and cared for.”
