After bringing in 649 crores on its extended Week One and 251 crores in its Week Two, Dhurandhar – The Revenge scored a fantabulous Week 3 as well with a big century being scored. The Hindi version of the film ended up netting 109 crores and that’s simply remarkable. Reason being that the only other films that have scored a century in their third week in a single language are Dhurandhar and Pushpa 2 (Hindi).
While former had brought on 189.30 crores, which was simply a marvellous score as the film had started coming on its own from second week onwards, latter had brought in 107.75 crores. Now Dhurandhar – The Revenge has gone one up over Pushpa 2 (Hindi) by bringing in 109 crores, though there is no comparison with Dhurandhar.
The distance will only bigger in Week 4 as Dhurandhar had scored a century in that time period as well, what with 115.70 crores coming in. On the other hand Pushpa 2 (Hindi) had scored a half century at 57.95 crores. Now Dhurandhar – The Revenge would be aiming for that number to be crossed, though it would be quite challenging since it has already done huge business in its run so far and there is a limit to added footfalls that can be expected after such a phenomenal record breaking start.
Fourth week has started on a decent note for the Aditya Dhar and Ranveer Singh film as around 6 crores came in. This means a weekend of 28-30 crores could be scored if there is a big jump on Saturday. Post that it would require weekdays of at least 20 crores if it has to even come close to Pushpa 2 (Hindi) Week 4, which means practically no Friday to Monday drop, which can’t be the case.
These are going to be exciting next 7 days indeed!
