Ok, so Dhurandhar – The Revenge is now continuing to amass massive records and in its third week it’s all set to enter 1000 Crore Club. While the film has inherent credentials that has taken it there, it has also been helped by the aversion of clash with Toxic which was otherwise supposed to take place on 18th April. With the Yash starrer wisely deciding to arrive on 4th June 2026 instead, the decks were cleared for the Aditya Dhar film which is now all set to be the highest grossing Indian film ever in a single language.

Meanwhile, Toxic is now the next big one on which the film industry is pegging its big bucks on. Considering the fact that this one is a biggie with Yash returning to the big screen four years after KGF: Chapter 2, all eyes are on Rocky bhai to score a really big one with his Toxic. After all, the film has been pegged as “A Fairytale For Grownups” and that itself comes with a lot of promise.

The very announcement video has caught attention and then the teaser indicated quite clearly that Yash would be seen in a double role avtar. Moreover, the very frames of the film have promised something really unique when it comes to its core narrative and storytelling, and that’s intriguing enough for Yash fans worldwide to line up for it whoever it arrives.

Thankfully, USA – Iran war has deescalated and there are good enough indications of it coming to a complete halt this summer by the time Toxic arrives. That will further justify the postponement of the film which was done in the first place to let the situation in the Middle East – where Yash has a loyal fanbase – to ease up. That would give Toxic ample leg space to sprint rather comfortably.

Of course, every film has its own budget and runway that it wishes to cover, and for Toxic, which is a standalone original film, it’s 500 Crore Club goalpost that it would want to score in. After all, it would be fool hardly to now start expecting every biggie to be a record breaking affair, and then aim for that 1000 Crore Club entry. When it comes to this Geethu Mohandas directed action drama thriller, a realistic Milner would be 500 cross and that too across languages.

That by itself is going to be a massive target as less than 10 Indian films have so far managed to reach there, and if Toxic indeed manages to go one up there then even that would be a record holding feat. However, with the Yash starrer arriving in multiple languages, including English, at least there is much wider scope for showcasing.

For now, the first big step for the film is to resume its promotional campaign. It was pretty hot till the day it was decided that it would arrive on a later date and now with a couple of months ahead of it, there can be adequate strategy put together to ensure that not just there is good marketing campaign designed for it, there is also ample awareness created amongst the audiences by the time it arrives in theatres.

The good part is that audiences would be waiting for a truly big ticket film to be watched in theaters by the time Toxic releases. While May has a few Hindi films planned for arrival, when it comes to an out and out action film, it’s only Toxic that’s touted to fill in that gap. While that would ensure a quick fire entry into the 100 and then 200 Crore Club with much ease, for the film to go way past that and then aim for 500 Crore Club, it would need to have super solid content with edge of the seat moments which would drive audiences in horde to theatres.
