The upcoming movies Alpha and Dhamaal 4 are set to release around the same time, leading to a box-office battle. While big banners are behind the both films, the comedy entertainer Dhamaal 4 appears to have a few strong advantages over Alpha. And here we have listed the five major reasons why the Indra Kumar-directed comedy film could emerge as the bigger crowd-puller than the Shiv Rawail-directed spy-thriller.
1) Family Entertainment Appeal: The first and one of the major reasons is Dhamaal 4 is a comedy film and it is designed as a family friendly film that can be enjoyed by all age groups, featuring clean, slapstick comedy and adventure, making it easier choice for viewers, while Alpha is a film that children of under the age of 16 cannot watch it as it features intense violence, kills etc.
2) Strong Franchise Value: The second big reason is the franchise value, Alia and Sharvari’s film is backed by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films which is a big thing however, with recently released Dhurandhar 1 & 2 raising the bar for spy films, the expectations are much higher while in case of Ajay Devgn led comedy film belongs from hit Dhamaal franchise that has built a loyal fan base over the years. And the nostalgia, familiarity, and comedy often work in favor of franchise films.

3) Wider Mass Appeal: When comparing, comedy films cover a wider audience with this genre enjoying broader acceptance across single screens and multiplexes, and this works in Dhamaal 4’s favor, and also helps in attracting repeat viewers, while Alpha is a spy-action-thriller which also enjoys huge fandom, but the result depends on whether the film lives up to the expectations or not.
4) Pre-Release Buzz: We have all noticed Dhamaal 4 received exciting and crazy response from the audience with its trailer release and the film has maintained consistent excitement through its promotional campaign, with social media conversations and audience anticipation remaining strong ahead of release however, in case of Alpha, the film saw underwhelming response from the audience for its teaser and trailer while and the excitement seems lower than expected.

5) Lower Pressure Than a Big-Budget Spy Film: Alpha is a big-budget spy action film, and it carries higher expectations, but that is not the case for Dhamaal 4, as it has simpler expectations, allowing positive word of mouth to play a bigger role.
In conclusion, whether Dhamaal 4 scores over Alpha depends on audience response after its release. At present, Dhamaal 4 looks well-positioned to deliver a stronger theatrical performance.
