Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt Staying away from the glitz and glamour typically associated with celebrity weddings, the actor has reportedly chosen to keep the celebrations intimate, with no plans for a lavish reception.
The wedding will take place at Aamir’s residence in Bandra, Mumbai, where the couple is expected to first register their marriage before hosting a small ceremony in the first half of the day. Only close family members and a handful of friends are expected to attend, making it a deeply personal affair.
Unlike the grand celebrations often seen in Bollywood, Aamir and Gauri have opted for a simple gathering focused on their loved ones. The decision also stands in contrast to the lavish event Aamir recently hosted to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Aamir Khan Productions.
One of the most heartwarming aspects of the ceremony is expected to be the presence of the couple’s children from their previous marriages. Aamir’s children—Junaid Khan, Ira Khan, and Azad Rao Khan—are all expected to be part of the celebrations. Gauri’s son from her previous marriage will also join the family occasion, highlighting the couple’s emphasis on togetherness.
Aamir and Gauri’s love story began in Bengaluru, where they met through the actor’s cousin, Nuzhat Khan. After dating for about a year, Aamir publicly introduced Gauri as his partner ahead of his 60th birthday celebrations earlier this year. Since then, the couple has been living together at Aamir’s home in Bandra.
Before moving to Mumbai, Gauri worked with a leading haircare brand in Bengaluru. She is now associated with Aamir Khan Productions, where she contributes to the company’s operations.
Speaking about marriage earlier, Aamir had humorously remarked, “Iss umar mein shaadi karna mujhe shobha nahi deta,” before adding that he feels happy and settled with Gauri, making this new phase of life feel right for both of them.
