Actor Rahul Roy, who became a household name with his 1990 musical hit, Aashiqui, has now hit back at the trolls targeting him over his viral reels featuring him with content creator Dr. Vanita Ghadage Desai. The video went viral in no time, leaving some concerned and curious, while others trolled the actor for working in the videos.

After facing harsh comments and trolling, Rahul broke his silence and posted a lengthy note on Instagram, indirectly mentioning his financial strain due to ongoing legal matters. The 90s star didn’t resist himself from hitting back at the trolls mocking him, emphasizing these actions say more about them (trollers) than about him.

With a clear and polite note, Rahul stated, “I do my work with honesty and modesty. I have some legal matters to pay for, and these are not from today—they are from before the brain stroke happened.”

Hitting back at the trolls, he said, “If you mock my simplicity or make fun of my struggles, it says less about me and more about you. If you are truly so concerned, then help me find some genuine and decent work so I can pay for these cases. At least I am earning through hard work, not by mocking others.”

“And after the brain stroke, it is important for me to stay active. I want to work for as long as I am alive. It keeps my mind active and gives me the sense of purpose and responsibility that I am still working today.
Yes, it may hurt a little sometimes, but you cannot break me. Rahul Roy, ” Rahul concluded.
