The Telugu and Tamil film world has been plunged into grief with the sudden passing away of ace comedian Venu Madhav this morning. Madhav was only 39 when he succumbed to kidney-related ailments.
The actor had not been keeping well in recent years, and had drastically cut down on his film commitments, speculated to be because of his bad health.
Venu Madhav had been admitted to hospital for his kidney ailments, and had been discharged recently on 22nd September. However, his health suddenly deteriorated on Tuesday night, and he was rushed to the hospital, where he had been under observation in the intensive care unit.
This morning, Venu Madhav lost the battle with his disease and passed away peacefully.
A slew of luminaries from the film world took to Twitter to express their grief on the actor’s untimely death.
Venu hit the big league with his first major hit, Sampradayam, in 1996. He soon became a star in both, the Telugu and Tamil film industries. The actor appeared in blockbusters like Master, Tholi Prema, Yuvaraju, Nuvve Nuvve, DIl, Simhadri and Arya, among a host of other hits.
