Actress Bindu, also known as Bindu Nanubhai Desai, is a renowned Bollywood actress known for her appearances in films like Amar Prem, Anpadh, Ittefaq, Sooryavansham, Judwaa, Om Shanti Om, and many others. In a recent conversation with journalist Vickey Lalwani, she got candid about her career, past, and other aspects of her life. However, talking about her experience with Shah Rukh Khan, she recalled his sweet gesture from the Main Hoon Na set, calling him a thorough gentleman.
When asked how her experience with Shah Rukh Khan on the sets was, Bindu reacted, “Very nice, he is what we say, ‘ a thorough gentleman’, very well read.” She mentioned that Shah Rukh is very good at giving respect to the artist, especially by sharing one of her experiences.
Bindu shared, “We were shooting in Darjeeling for Main Hoon Na. So the shot was getting ready, and we were all standing in the sunlight, including me, Boman Irani, and others were also there, and Shah Rukh was also there, and everyone was looking at the shot that was getting ready. Then Shah Rukh noticed that I’m standing in the sunlight, and he himself brought a chair and asked that you please sit.”
Explaining about the incident, Bindua emphasized that Shah Rukh could have asked anyone, as there were many spot boys, but he himself brought the chair and gave it to her, and this moment made her feel touched that despite being a big star, he still has so much love, and there is a height of chivalry for artists, and this made her very happy.
