According to a report by Times Entertainment, Alia Bhatt has emerged as the highest-paid actor in the film, with a reported fee significantly higher than that of her co-star Sharvari Wagh.
As per the report, Alia Bhatt has reportedly been paid Rs 25 crore to headline Alpha. The film marks a major milestone as the first female-led installment in Yash Raj Films’ popular Spy Universe, making it one of Alia’s most ambitious projects to date.
Sharvari Wagh, who plays a crucial role alongside Alia Bhatt in the film, has reportedly received Rs 3 crore for her performance. The reported figures suggest that Alia’s remuneration is more than eight times Sharvari’s, bringing discussions of pay disparity, experience, market value, and star power in the Hindi film industry back into focus.
Meanwhile, actor Bobby Deol, who portrays the film’s primary antagonist, has reportedly charged Rs 6 crore for his role. Following acclaimed negative performances in recent projects, Bobby remains one of Bollywood’s most sought-after villains.
Veteran star Anil Kapoor has reportedly been paid Rs 6 crore for his role in Alpha, placing him alongside Bobby Deol as the second-highest-paid actor in the film after Alia Bhatt.
Directed by Shiv Rawail, Alpha stars Alia Bhatt in the lead with Sharvari Wagh playing an equally significant character. The film is set within Yash Raj Films’ Spy Universe, joining blockbuster titles such as Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, Tiger 3, and War 2. The project also marks Alia Bhatt’s first full-fledged action film, while Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor are expected to play pivotal roles.
The film has undergone multiple release date changes throughout production. Initially slated for a 2025 release, it was later shifted to July 3, 2026, when it will arrive in cinemas worldwide.
While the reported remuneration figures have generated considerable buzz online, the makers of Alpha have not officially confirmed the cast’s fees.
