Actor and content creator Rohini Ramnathan shared news of Divya Vinekar’s passing in a heartfelt social media post. The late actress was best known for appearing alongside Alia Bhatt and Shefali Shah in the 2022 film Darlings.
On October 19, 2026, Rohini shared a series of pictures with Divya, expressing her shock over her demise. She didn’t reveal the exact cause of death but informed that the incident happened unexpectedly.
In her caption Rohini wrote, “It is with utmost sadness and shock that I have to inform all those who love/adore our DV, divyavinekar left for heavenly abode today. It was sudden and unexpected. The family and the ones whose lives she touched daily with her grace and love are dealing. Enquiries at this moment could be avoided.”
Sharing about the last rites, Rohini wrote, “However, this is to inform those who wish to bid adieu to her: 10 am tomorrow, 20th of October, at Shivaji Park Hindu Crematorium.”
Expressing what Divya was for her, the content creator said, “DV, as we know her fondly, was a pillar to me personally and professionally for all of us at Fever FM. Her work ethic, her kindness and her knowledge made her one of her kind.”
And lastly, wrote, “You’ll be missed, baby; go well. Thank you for being a part of us. We were blessed to have her.”
