The social media allegations about Telugu superstar Allu Arjun breaking more than 42 meeting rules, including his no handshake and no eye contact rule, which, according to their claims, he uses for his official meetings, warrant a separate investigation because they constitute unverified and unsupported statements.

The Pushpa 2-star, who showed his friendly nature during his January 2026 Tokyo promotional tour, proved his approachability through his behaviour. Allu Arjun received widespread recognition for his humility after he approached a crying fan he met in a video, shook her hand and greeted her.

The actor, whose fans discovered had a discipline mantra on his phone wallpaper, actually used it for personal purposes rather than meeting the requirements. The list contained only the words “No Snack, No Sugar, No Soda,” which he used as his personal health commitment and had no connection to his professional duties.

The two events which originated the rumours had no actual connection to each other. The actor appeared in a public video that went viral in August 2025 after he showed security personnel his face mask. The specific ‘no handshake, no eye contact’ rule first appeared in news coverage in December 2025 of India’s U19 cricket team, which followed it during matches against Pakistan. The specific element of the rule was incorrectly attributed to the actor due to a social media misunderstanding. Allu Arjun currently faces legal action because of the deadly stampede which occurred at the Pushpa 2 screening in December 2024. He received regular bail in January 2025. He wanted his fans to show their support by stopping their abusive behaviour on social media.

The incident shows how false information spreads through society because celebrities become public targets for scrutiny.
