Actor Allu Sirish has addressed online criticism of visuals of Ram Charan at a pre-wedding cocktail party, explaining what happened and showing that his friend did not break his Ayyappa Deeksha religious vow. The controversy started when photographs of Charan at the event appeared, which raised doubts about his ability to attend a “cocktail” event while he was following a 41-day spiritual vow which required him to maintain a strict satvik diet and complete alcohol prohibition and other behaviour restrictions.

Allu Arjun’s pre-wedding cocktail party in Hyderabad served as the occasion for his brother Allu Sirish and his fiancée Nayanika Reddy to celebrate their upcoming marriage. Ram Charan wore Ayyappa mala and traditional black clothing to show his Deeksha commitment which required him to walk barefoot and stay away from all alcoholic drinks.

Sirish explained the public reaction by showing that Charan arrived at the location before the event started, demonstrating his spiritual commitment through his visit. Sirish declared that Charan only stayed for a short time which occurred before the party started serving alcohol and he asked fans to honour the actor’s dedication and goals.

The celebration formed part of the preparations for Sirish and Nayanika’s wedding which will take place on March 6 2026 that also marks the wedding anniversary of Allu Arjun. Sirish’s statement aims to put an end to the speculation and highlight the mutual respect among the actors for one another’s beliefs and customs.
