Alia Bhatt and Sharvari starrer Alpha opened on a disappointing note, given its big budget, stellar star cast, and backing by YRF. While the film saw a slight rise over the first weekend, the first week was decent, but with the second-week entry, the film slowed down, witnessing a major drop and recording its lowest single-day collection on day 8.
On day 8 (Second Friday), the spy action film earned just 1.65 crore net, lower than the day 7’s 2.50 crore. With the new release, Dhamaal 4, the competition for the female-led film has increased.

Verdict
Alpha, in its second week, has slowed at the box office, struggling to reach even 50 crore net in 8 days. And this shows that the film has disappointed.
