Amin Hajee is a longtime friend and former co-star of Aamir Khan, with a bond spanning over two decades since they worked together on the 2001 film Lagaan. In a recent conversation with podcaster Siddharth Kannan, he was questioned about Aamir’s shocking silence despite Faisal Khan making insulting remarks and claims.
When asked about Aamir’s approach during the painful phase when his brother Faisal Khan was making shocking claims against the family, Amin Hajee gave an example, revealing he was preparing for his directorial film Koi Jaane Na and wanted a star to play a cameo, which Aamir volunteered despite knowing that it would be a step down for him. Amin revealed that Aamir helped him because he wanted to support his project, given his hard work and dedication. He shared that Aamir said, “If it were Faisal, I would have helped him, so I’m helping you also.”
Adding to this, Amin’s British wife, Charlotte, shared that Aamir is someone who always looks for the positive. She emphasized that following that positive approach to see anyone is hard, but Aamir always does it; no matter how negative that thing may be, he believes in picking up the positive from it.
Further, Amin shared that since Faisal is his real brother, Aamir couldn’t say anything because he chooses to see the good in others. He also emphasized that Aamir is someone who, if you are in a room where people are making fun of you, will be the first to support you, as this is his core nature: to uplift others.
