Anaconda Box Office Collection: Opening on Christmas, the action-comedy-horror film earned a decent amount on day 1. Starring Paul Rudd and Jack Black in the lead roles, the film earned 1.60 crore in India, marking a good start despite tough competition.
As per Sacnilk reports, the film earned 0.85 crore, i.e., 85 lakhs, in English language, 0.40 crore, i.e., 40 lakhs, in Hindi language, 0.25 crore, i.e., 25 lakhs, in Tamil language, and 0.10 crore, i.e., 10 lakhs, in Telugu language.
Though the film had a decent collection on day 1, its performance is likely to rise as the weekend approaches, and on top of that, it’s the holiday season.
In contrast, the film earned 25 crore across the globe on day 1 with gross collection in India standing at 1.90 crore, and overall worldwide collection of the film has hit 50 crore on day, making it a superhit already.
The American action-comedy-horror film is directed by Tom Gormican and produced by Brad Fuller, Andrew Form, Kevin Etten, and Tom Gormican. Anaconda serves as the reboot of the 1997 film and is the 6th installment in the Anaconda film series. The film also stars Steve Zahn, Thandiwe Newton, Daniela Melchior, and Selton Mello in key roles.
