Bollywood diva Anushka Sharma and renowned Indian cricketer Virat Kohli attended legendary international singer Krishna Das’s kirtan concert in Mumbai on Sunday, October 25, 2026. Ever since then, videos and photos from the actress-cricketer couple’s spiritual outing have circulated. While the actress won hearts for her joyful energy, the internet has erupted into a massive debate over the Indian cricket icon’s intensely serious demeanor during the event.
In the now-viral video, Anushka is seen soaking in the serene spiritual aura. Drenched in joy, the actress clapped energetically and sang along to the rhythms with a vibrant smile lighting up her face.
Sitting beside the actress, legendary batsman Virat Kohli kept a remarkably stern, unsmiling expression throughout the clip, occasionally closing his eyes tightly. The contrast immediately sparked an intense debate among netizens, with a section of the internet claiming the cricketer looked visibly drained, unhappy, or completely uninterested in the event.
In response, netizens shared their views, with a section of the internet claiming that former Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli looked unhappy and uninterested. At the same time, many defended the cricketer, while others reacted neutrally.
For the spiritual outing, Anushka appeared in a dark pinkish maroon outfit from the label DOT. The outfit has three pieces, including an anarkali-style dress featuring a plain, body-hugging bodice, a pleated, floor-length anarkali suit, teamed with loose palazzo pants and a matching dupatta. Anushka’s open, cascading tresses and minimal makeup radiated an effortless festive glow.
In contrast, Virat kept it casual and grounded, sporting a simple dark oversized T-shirt paired with comfortable off-white trousers. The couple often creates buzz with their spiritual visits. But this time, fans noticed Virat’s expression, leading to questions about whether he was unhappy about attending the concert.
One highly liked comment read: “If you notice Virat was really uninterested but when he saw camera he pretended to sing along and that too for the sake of it.”
Another user wrote sarcastically: “Virat seems really interested.”
Meanwhile, a third netizen quipped: “Kohli looks like he’s about to cry lol.”
