Malayalam TV actor and social media influencer Aparna Thomas and Jeeva Joseph have officially parted ways. Amid the actress’s cryptic birthday post on August 23, 2026 Aparna confirmed the separation through her social media post on August 24, 2026 with the caption, “And with that, this chapter comes to an end ”
Sharing the big update in her post, Aparna talked about the decision, emphasizing her marriage to Jeeva and noting it wasn’t an easy decision. She wrote, “I know a lot of you have been waiting to hear from me, so this is me speaking to you directly. Yes, the marriage is over. It didn’t work out, and honestly didn’t want to continue. It was not an easy decision, I believe for both of us, but it was one I needed to make for myself.”
Aparna further mentioned feeling at peace now after a long time and wrote, “And today, I can genuinely say I’m at peace. I’m happy, I feel safe, and I feel so much lighter than I have in a long time.”
She also highlighted, “I don’t want to get into what happened or explain every detail because some things are deeply personal. I just want to move forward and live my life peacefully.”
And lastly requested privacy: “Please respect my/our privacy and give me/us that space. That’s all I ask; I hope you’ll understand.”
Simultaneously, Jeeva shared his own statement, “Hey Everyone, This is not an easy thing for me to share, but I felt I should, especially because I felt you guys deserved to hear this from me directly as many of you have been part of my journey through my career, my happiness, my difficult moments, and everything in between. A lot of you liked us as a couple, but from now on, it’s not “us” anymore; it’s just Jeeva and Aparna.
He also added, “After 11 years of marriage, we’re going our separate ways. Something went wrong somewhere & now we’re accepting the truth that it just won’t work out. So we both have decided to go on our separate ways & the reason behind it is strictly personal. Hope you guys can take this in a mature way, just like we have. This has been a deeply personal decision, and we ask for privacy and understanding as we navigate this. As we say, everything happens for a reason, and I really believe it. Thanks, everyone.”
The couple got married when Jeeva was 25 and Aparna was 22, and after 11 years of their marriage, they have peacefully parted ways.
