Happiness poured into Indian film director and actor Ashutosh Gowariker’s house as his son, Konark Gowariker, and his wife, Niyati Kanakia Gowariker, welcomed their first child, a baby boy. The couple announced the good news with the sweetest Instagram post; however, it was the baby boy’s cute name that caught our attention.
On his Instagram handle, Konark ok Friday, January 23, shared a series of photos of the newborn, revealing his exact birth date, his face, and name. In the opening frame, Konark and Niyati are seen holding their little baby and looking at him with eyes full of happiness and love, celebrating one month of their baby boy’s birth.
However, the other pictures give us a glimpse of the baby boy’s cute face and little hands, while the last picture shows the couple revealing their son’s name, Arhaan Gowariker, along with his birth date, December 23, 2025.
In the post, Konark beautifully explained the meaning of his son’s name, Arhaan, saying, “Sanskrit for Ruler, King, Worthy, or Honorable; signifying a leader with authority and wisdom.”
Sharing these sweet photos, Konark wrote in the caption, “We made a thing! And today marks the first month since inauguration #BabyBoyGowariker.”
Konark Gowariker tied the knot with Niyati Kanakia on March 2, 2025, and within a year, the couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Arhaan Gowariker.
