Baaghi 3 released on Friday 6th March and it was one of the most awaited films of the year. The trailer and the songs were really promising and fans were happy to see Shraddha-Tiger pair back on the big screen. During promotions, Tiger stated that 90 per cent of the scenes were live-action and to make the experience top-notch the VFX effects.
As reported in the TOI, ‘According to BoxOfficeIndia’s early estimate report, the film has collected around Rs 17-18 crores on the first day.’ Although it overtook ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ first-day collection, it did not match Baaghi 2’s collection of the release day. The report further stated that the film would have earned more, however, due to the Coronavirus threat the viewers chose to give it a miss. The increasing awareness and dread about the virus hit the film’s box office collection. However, as Holi is around the corner, it is expected that the audience might turn up to watch this action-packed film.
