Directed by S. S Rajamouli, the action drama is winning hearts again. The film opened big, raking in 9.65 crore on the first day. Despite the weekend, the film’s collection dropped, earning 7.25 crore on Saturday and 6.3 crore on Sunday. On the first Monday, the film made a business of 1.85 crore, witnessing a drastic fall.
On the first Tuesday, day 5, the collection rose slightly from day 4, reaching 1.95 crore. On day 6, the film earned a moderate 1.50 crore rupees, maintaining a steady performance at the box office. And after all six days of collection, the total of the film stands at 29.65 crore, missing the 30 crore mark by a minor margin.
At the current pace, Baahubali: The Epic is likely to set new box-office records this weekend. If the film witnesses a rise on the weekend, its collection is likely to cross 40 crores.
Baahubali: The Epic is a remix of the blockbuster hits Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion. The film was re-released on October 31. The film also stars Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead roles.
