Batwara 1947, the partition-era film, continues to see a declining trajectory at the box office in its first week. After the significant rise on its day 2 (First Saturday), the Sunny Deol starrer saw a significant drop on its first Monday (day 4), recording the lowest single-day collection.

The Rajkumar Santoshi-directed partition drama has entered Day 4, its first Monday after a holiday-aided opening weekend. The first target for the emotions-driven film is now to cross the Rs. 30 crore net milestone.

However, on Day 4, it earned 2 crore net across 6,771 shows with just 11 percent occupancy in theatres, according to Sacnilk reports. The first Monday saw a 72.4 percent drop, making Day 4’s collection the lowest single-day earning. The film collected ₹0.75 crore (₹75 lakh) in overseas markets on Day 4.
