As per the latest media reports in onmanorama.com, The police on Thursday have arrested filmmaker Sanal Kumar Sasidharan after actress Manju Warrier filed a complaint against him for defaming her in a post on social media. In the complaint, the actress revealed that the director had been blackmailing and defaming her through his posts on social media. The director, who has helmed several award-winning feature films, had also cast Manju Warrier in ‘Kayyattam’.
For the unversed, the filmmaker had taken to social media to make claims that her life is apparently in danger. He reportedly said that her life was in danger since he testified in the case involving actor Dileep.
